How's My Week?!?!?

How's my week?!?!?!
Oh, you mean my week from H-E-Double Hockey?

Let's see, where do I begin?
My birthday was Sunday and my present first thing that morning was my husband leaving me for a week.
I get to go to work feeling sick and with low sugar. On the verge of fainting or vomiting all day.
I was reminded that while I thoroughly enjoy my job, there are some VERY hard days. Talk about an emotional train wreck, so I had to add "trying not to cry" to my list of things not to do...

Monday I take my step-girl home. Not bad in itself, except I couldn't find my frickin CDs to listen to in the car and I really need a good vibe to pick me up from the funk of missing my love.
I am at the end of the 45 minute drive to her house when, Oops, she remembers she forgot her study books at our house and needs them that night. I get to drive 45 minutes back to my house, to drive 45 minutes back to her house, to drive 45 minutes back home... I really hated my car at the end of that day... Especially since I had no CDs!!! I can only listen to Rihanna choke on her lies and Usher "OMG" so many times...
Then my sister goes to hospital for pain issues... So I got to worry about her... She's still in pain but doctors here are dumb and just said her hip pain was related to a migraine. Let me know when you get how that works, k?
 To finalize that day, I got to fight Chunko for my dinner (something I would get to repeat every night this week).

Tuesday Geekers got a fever and I had to worry about whether it was high enough to leave work early and get him and wonder if I should call out for the next day to take care of him... He ended up just having a low grade fever, so all that worry for nothing.

Wednesday, Chunko fell out of bed in the middle of the night... Or does that count as Thursday? Anyways, I got to panic that he broke his arm or that he had brain damage (he's fine, too) on top of little sleep...

Throughout this week of everything going wrong, Chunko has been fussy and about to crack his next tooth. Or that's what I keep telling myself so I don't scream everytime he does. He really misses his Daddy and has been needy, whiny and mean in his sadness. He doesn't want to eat his dinner, only mine and my evenings are spent carrying him and fighting him for my dinner plate.

My anxiety has peaked and I am ready to snap... Which means I get to have the messed up dreams that make me freak out even more... And they typically surround the one relationship I can't fix... $500 to the first correct guess!

No way, that's too easy!

I dreamed that I won a LAMB purse with Gwen tickets and my first thought was to use it as bribe to get my OSD to talk to me. I think she hates me so much that even that wouldn't work...
I talked with a co-worker who told me that she unfairly hated her step-mother. She thought that she was a gold-digger and that she was trying to ruin the family (familiar, right?) and that it took her almost 15 years and their divorce for her to realize how wrong she had been. So of course, I dream of that...
How amazing would it be if she were to call out of the blue and try? For my love I would give up all my anger if it meant they could talk and be ok again... I would give almost anything for that...
That's the only ones I remember, can't seem to block them like the rest no matter how bad I want to. I'm getting better, but when my anxiety freaks out it's hard to not add on this stress... It's like a "why not cluster f**K"

I want to call Gary Spivey and ask him if there's any hope but I haven't yet... Maybe it's because I don't want to hear that the answer is a firm "No!!"

My love returns tomorrow and it is not soon enough cause I am tired of being a stress ball... I don't handle it well... I tend to eat my emotions and so I choose to keep telling myself:
Wonder what tonight will bring me?

Chunko's Day

Chunko is a very busy lil baby and he wants his dedicated followers (and stalkers) to know he doesn't sit around and eat all day long... He only does that most of the day. The rest of his time during the day is spent doing many things... Such as:

Getting stuck under the dinner table and chairs.
He wasn't to be stopped though, not by a simple measly chair... So he decided to cruise around the kitchen exactly as he was...

Chair and all...
He walked just like this around our kitchen for almost twenty minutes and was so mad when he finally got un-stuck because his new game was ruined...

Now that he's worked up an appetite, he must try to get Moo's dinner plate (that's me now, apparently... my fragile ego adores my new name). His food isn't good enough and he's already eaten all of it anyways. He throws his binky up on the table and starts patting around in hopes of grabbing my plate or just some food or even a chocolate treat? If he gets busted for having his hands on the table, he just picks up his binky and shows me it, like "See Moo? This is all I wanted, I swear"

After dinner it's time to attack bruthy. He bursts down the hall and lunges right into his brother's arms. He adores his older siblings and must let them know as much as possible. I just wish he would wait until bruthy was done getting dressed first....
As Chunko wound his day down, he decided to end it with destroying our bathroom. I know I had shut the door but obviously not well enough. He tore up magazines, dug up trash, unrolled our toilet paper (maybe ate a piece or two) and then took off with my pads and tampons (unused thankfully!). I'm still trying to find all the tampons he hid along his escape route..  I am just so thankful it wasn't one of "those" weeks (you know what I mean ladies) or this could have been soooooooooo much yuckier (times 1000!!!)...

And that's my hurricaine's typical day. The havoc he wreaks changes but he the path of destruction stays the same...

Love you, Chunko, thanks for keeping things interesting!

To The Beginning

Christmas was a whirlwind that was so fun and we somehow survived... Glad it only happens once a year.

NYE at Disneyland was a BLAST!!! It was unbelievably crowded and the lines were ridiculous but it was an experience that I am so happy we got to have. We abused the Fast Passes and even caught a couple of rides with small lines (cause we have amazing timing). We rode far more rides than we thought we were going to be able to. Chunko's first ride was the Haunted Mansion. He loved it! He rode all by himself on the Toy Story Mania and the Monster's Inc Rides! Ok, not completely by himself (obviously) but sitting in his own seat and secured by his own little piece of the lapbar. He wasn't fussy, even when it got to be FREEZING COLD and even when we ended up staying at the park for over 16 hours. He loved the characters and loved all the crowds. He kept giving random people his puppy eyes in hopes that they would take pity and feed him, thankfully there were no takers. He almost lunged onto a stranger's table diving for french fries... I love explaining that....

Here's a list of Chunko's latest and greatest tricks (normally I would take the time to write it all out but he's entertaining himself with a magazine and I only have so much time before he starts eating it):

* Clapping
* Saying "Ow"
* Saying "DaDa" (but not "Mama")
* Throwing toys during his temper tantrums
* Loves watching Glee & the Idol previews
* Working on his 3rd and 4th teeth
* Gives sister kisses on demand
* Wrestles brother
* Chases brother
* Ramming his walker into people for attention (or puffs)
* Maneuvers his walker around tight corners and into the kitchen
* Flips over his bouncer after nap time so that he can crawl out of it
*He will fight for whatever toy he thinks he should be playing with, if he thinks kisses or hair pulling is what will help, he will do it
* He's sneaking food (snuck oreos at the sitters by hiding in the closet with his secret morsels)

My two favorite new tricks are him standing for long periods of time and him taking steps... That's right... Walking!!!!!!!!!!!!! He took his first step on Christmas Day!!!!!! He stood up and then stepped... Like actual intentional stepping!!! He's so excited and has been practicing as much as he can every night. He's worked his way up to two steps and being able to correct himself if he starts to fall. I am so proud of my baby boy!!!

I've got to run, Chunko found the TV remote...

PS; I want this... I didn't know you could do this, but I would love to have a Taco Bell intercom! I don't really want it strapped to my back but I want one... My birthday's coming up, get crackin'

Promises Promises

Since it's the beginning of the new year, I've decided to put on my sheep's clothing and write up a list of resolutions... Things I would like to accomplish by December 31, 2011 (hopefully sooner but I do tend to procrasinate)

1. Number 1 and most important on my list is to get back down to 150. I've joined a group on FB of women trying to lose weight and we hold each accountable... So now I have to exercise (and no, I haven't frickin started!)
2. I would like to make our wedding album. I've selected the kind of book I want and all we have to do is lay it out and order it... Sounds easy enough, right?
3. I also have to complete my sister's wedding book. We promised it to her by her birthday and well.. that passed and so now I have to get 'er done!
4. Since I am on a photo book track I would like to finally scrapbook my loose pictures... Maybe even get creative enough to work on my digital pictures
5. My next very important year long task is to shower my love with affection... I need to smother him with my love and make sure he knows I love him to bits and pieces
6. We're working towards paying off our debts. We're on a very good path and as long as somebody doesn't get a craving for new shoes, we should be perfect with the plan we have... I'll have to make my love promise to ease his shopping skills, lol!
7. I seriously need to clean out our garage. We haven't had a clean garage in over three years and I think it's about time that my love be able to park in the garage again. No more excuses...
8. Quit obsessing over people and things I cannot control... I hate the way some situations are left as they are and I can't help feeling like it's not over but... I can't do anything and I have to accept that
9. On that same note, I am going to do what I can to amend my broken fences... Family is life and I want to make sure that they all know it
10. I'd like to send birthday cards to my family and friends. I've wanted to do this for years and I am going to "try" this year. Make it a goal and do it!... I hope

I tried not to make the list too hard since I won't do it if it is (cause I am lazy-ish) but these are things I really think I can succeed with...

Wish me luck!
