Almost Back To Normal

What exactly is normal?

Besides the point I guess, or at least not the point I'm going for...

I got sick (is it again or is it still?) and ended up going for 48 hours without eating.
Why were those the best 48 hours for me?
I got to see 161 on the scale and I have been pretty steady at 163 (YAY-Effing-HOO!!!) and that leaves me with just 6 pounds until I reach pre-preg weight and 13 to my goal. It all seems so reachable now. I fit most of my old size 12 pants with only slight discomfort. I think that's only because I am so used to wearing maternity pants. Do you have any idea how comfy those things are? It's going to be bittersweet retiring them. I've really cut back on my Pepsi intake... Which sucks sooooo bad.
I am jonesing for some bubbly Pepsi.
I almost beat a co-worker up who had the audacity to open a can in front of me. He outran me but oh man...

We're working on Chunko's 1st birthday invites... They are so cute if I do say so myself! I'll post them after they are ordered (if I remember). They're not typical but they are so... well... Us.
It's so exciting and so sad that he's officially going to be a year old. He was never little or tiny so it's not like I'm going to miss our "newborn" moments but I wouldn't mind spending a day or two in the past when he couldn't walk or terrorize our house...

My love and I hit a speed bump. We fell into that "roommate" rut that couples hit when life gets to be too much... You know the "40+ hour workweek, transporting kids everywhere, trying to have a social life, homework, early meetings, travel for work, baby never sleeps, teething, familial obligations" rut. We both developed insecurities and worries about whether the other still loved us and, funny enough, they were the exact same insecurities. We talked it out and now our love could not be stronger. Somehow this man has managed to overlook all of my bad "wife" skills and still loves me... Is he nuts???

So, I was reading a book the other day (like, when am I not, right?) and this bad guy is obsessive over the good guy. Like crazy obsessed. It freaked me out a little bit because little things the character said or did reminded me of me. Not good. Not good at all. So I have decided that I can do all the blame shifting I want and I can rationalize all I like but this is the end. I am going to shut the book, copy it to disc and stash the disc... And then I am done.  It'll be hard, not going to lie. Whenever I get bored I won't just stroll on over to my usual lists and snoop. I'm going to occupy myself with some good old fashioned Internet strolling.

My love and I have been discussing our financial future and it looks like we might actually have one... It's weird for me to think that I actually have a chance of being out of medical debt hell. Geekers emergency room visits racked a fairly large amount of charges and I just accepted it for what it was. However, we're looking at a couple plans of action and figuring ways to proceed for the best possible future. Honestly all I care about is how soon can we afford to trade in my van? I love my sassy van but am so seriously over her. I want space and rear air conditioning. I want upgrades. I want something I can drive over slower cars with. I want a Suburban tricked out like a Monster Truck... Oh yeah, I want that big time... Who wouldn't want a Barbie pink truck to run over their POS?

On that happy thought, I must go back to looking busy...
At least it's Friday
